We had an amazing meal. Corn fritters for appetizer, then terrific fried shrimp and ham & egg omelette. The sides were as good as the main courses: mac 'n 'cheese, fried potato cubes and just delicious fried apples. The service was prompt and super friendly. Really first-rate.
A small group of 5 of us went there, and we were treated terribly. The waitress treated us condescendingly. We were there for 45 minutes and never did receive our food. All the while customers who came in after is were receiving their orders. I don't know if it was homophobia or utter incompetence. After 40 minutes of waiting, the waitress says it will be just a couple more minutes. 5 minutes later, without being able to attract the attention of our waitress or receive refills for our drinks (coffee and water). We walked out. Needless to say this put a damper on our mood for the day.
If I’m ever back out this way, I’ll be sure to stop here again.
Food was really good quality. Golden fried cubed potatoes were delicious. The cost of the meal was very inexpensive. The server was polite. We got their early enough that we got seated right away. When we were leaving, it was a 40 minute wait.
Delicious food for very awesome prices! I got an egg sandwich with their little potato cubes. My husband got a steak with eggs and toast. Our food came out fresh in a good time frame. This place gives a good small-town family vibe. Ended up eating here twice on my vacation. Love it!
We were not impressed. The place was nearly empty and still the service was slow and mostly hostile. The food was edible and not completely tasteless, but I wouldn't call it tasty either. Prices were inflated. Maybe you get better food and service if they know you, we saw a waitress being friendly with some folks who came in after us. Mysteriously, they got their food long before we did. Not recommended if you're a tourist.
