This place is a complete rip off. I dropped a U-Haul trailer off at this location and come to find out they charged my credit card $5.00 for cleaning?? Which is complete BS because the trailer was definitely left clean. Yeah $5.00 whoopdy do, but this is not about the $5.00 it's the principal behind it. Basically, if you don't make the reservation through this place they will do everything they can to make a few bucks from you. Sorry, but that doesn't fly with me. I called U-Haul and disputed the charge. I also called this facility and spoke to the owner and asked him why they charged my card. He tried to feed me some BS that there was packing tape left in the trailer. Sorry buddy, but you know that's a lie. I went above and beyond to make sure that this complaint was made to U-Haul. Do not use this place. They're shaaaady!
I returned a U-Haul on a Sunday and even though they are closed on Sunday, he was there. And he was rude. You can drop off a U-Haul even when they are closed, so I was surprised anyone was there. I wish he hadn't been. He was hateful about everything. We didn't know exactly where to park it and he came running out with an attitude and I told him we were parking it out of the way, but he just gave attitude like we were stupid for not knowing where he wanted it parked at exact spot. He just had a bad attitude the whole time we were there. I checked the gas meter and it matched exactly as the paper had it whereI rented from. He went and charged me and said it was low. I even had someone double check while we were there to make sure we didn't need to add more gas before returning it and there was a gas station right across the road - I would have filled it up myself before having to pay fees for it, that is if it would have needed gas. But it didn't because it matched up perfectly. I wasn't even going to bother about complaining about him. I was just going to write it off as it was Sunday and he was having to work. But after I found out he charged me for the gas and it didn't even need it, well, I'm ticked. I will never use this location again and if U-Haul doesn't return the money he charged me, I won't ever use U-Haul again. And my family use U-Haul a lot and never had any problems until this.
